Howdy!
I have finally sorted and named some photos from an Air Fair and I am trying to utilize gallery remote (which i downloaded from the gallery page here on the finer points) to connect upload, resize, etc. The problem is I cannot get it to connect to the site. If I paste http://thefinerpoints.net/photos/v/listeners/Meldrak/
into the URL connect field, it tries to connect to:
http://thefinerpoints.net/photos/v/list ... emote2.php
There seems to be no way to make it not add the last part on there.
It seems like it would take quite some time to upload these manually, can anyone please assist me in getting connected.

and it went to that address correctly

I recommend you clear your browsers cache.

Thanks for the help but I think you misunderstood my problem.
Let me rephrase the problem:
I have no issue getting to my album via my browser. The problem lies in trying to connect to that URL using Gallery Remote 1.5, a program suggested by the gallery feature of this website to upload files. When uploading many photos, it will resize them, let you add comments, and upload them all at the press of a button from your pc. I just need to know how to make that particular program connect to the finer points gallery. Since it is suggested in the gallery I know it is supported, I just don't know what connect URL to use. It is either me not knowing what URL to put in, or perhaps an admin needs to setup the gallery remote access on the website.

I've had success using these settings and the latest version of Gallery Remote.

Gallery Type: Standalone
Gallery URL: http://www.thefinerpoints.net/photos/

I downloaded a version from here:
http://gallery.menalto.com/wiki/Gallery_Remote

The version I am using is 1.5.1-b36

Check you have the latest version and that the Gallery URL is correct.

Got it!
It was the version that was causing issues. I had the b35 and hadn't gotten the full latest build, even when downloading from the official website. Once I upgraded the settings you suggested work great!
I am uploading half now and will rename the other half and upload them later.
The folder is called Denton Air Fair 2008 in my listener submitted album: Joel Janssen.
